The idea behind the project is to start bringing the kitchen out of the home by inviting people to think and design domestic devices in the public sphere, reconsidering the spaces we collectively inhabit through urban kitchens that value food.
The proposal aims to provide society with accessible and carefully prepared food, sold directly by local producers and farmers and cooked by the local community, creating new domestic spaces capable of blurring the boundaries established between the public and private spheres.
While today the Municipality of Luján promotes spaces that encourage private gardens, conscious eating, and the importance of local agriculture, this new and peculiar building will enhance existing activities and provide new spaces that propose a meeting point for the community.
